How good is God ?

1. God is good because He is light
2. God is good because He gave us His commandments
3. But men loves darkness
4. Men could 'misunderstand' darkness as light, and light as darkness
5. God is good because He is more than grace
6. God is good because He is a good judge (He gave us warnings against the false prophets)
7. God is good because He is a good judge (He gave us warnings against the 'Corban' preachers)
8. God is good because He is a good teacher (He will teach His people)
9. God is still good if He makes us sick

1. God is good because He is light
How good God is is seen in how good He could save us and deliver us from the darkness of the world. It is not based on how much we could enjoy life in this world or how long we can live in this world. Of course, no one would reject riches, long life, and prosperity, but Jesus would want all His disciples to know the real kingdom of God. His real kingdom is different from the kingdom of this world, so are we different from the rest of the people too, because we are the light of the world.
  • Mat 5:11-20 KJV  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  (12)  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.  (13)  Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  (14)  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  (15)  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  (16)  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.  (17)  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  (18)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (19)  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  (20)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. (Jesus did not say that we should be as righteous as the Pharisees, but He said we should be more righteous than the Pharisees who were hypocrites. In another words, 1. All the Jews must still repent even though they thought that they were as righteous as the Pharisees, 2. All of us, who are now in Christ should never follow the deceivableness of unrighteousness (2Th 2:10) that is in the Pharisees or hypocrites too.)
That's why we are also considered as an holy nation, a peculiar people, ... who has His laws in us:
  • Heb 8:10 KJV  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
  • 1Pe 2:9-17 KJV (9)  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
  • 1Jn 1:5-10 KJV  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all (6)  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:  (7)  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  (8)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  (9)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (10)  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
2. God is good because He gave us His commandments
Because God is light, so are we the light, and so is the kingdom of God too. How do we know that there is light? It's because there is God's commandment. God's commandment is light. That's why Jesus will not destroy the law of God or tell His disciples to teach breaking of God's laws. Teaching people to break God's commandments or to reject God's laws is the teaching of the darkness.
  • Pro 6:23 KJV  For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
  • Psa 119:105 KJV  NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
  • Isa 51:4-16 KJV  Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.  (5)  My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.  ..  (8)  For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.  .. (11)  Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.  (12)  I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;  ..
  • 1Jn 2:7-8 KJV  Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.  (8)  Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
  • 2Pe 1:19 KJV  We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: ... 2 Pe 2:1-22 KJV (1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  (2)  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.  (3)  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. .. (17) These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.  (18)  For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.  (19)  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.  (20)  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  (21)  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

3. But men loves darkness
However, sometimes, darkness is good for us in real life because we need to sleep. In fact, many of us cannot sleep well with the lights on. But can we conclude that because most people cannot sleep well with the lights on, therefore, darkness is better than light?  Of course, this reasoning is too ridiculous.
Ironically, many believers or even preachers think of God's commandment in the same way too. They think that light is good and God's commandment is good but when it cannot fit into thinking, they conclude that His commandment is no more useful for them. They think that God's commandment has become obsolete and they choose to reject it totally.. They think that without any God's laws, it will give them good 'sleep' and sweet dreams. Hence, they conclude that darkness has now become better for them. However, they have forgotten that they need to wake up in the morning. When the morning comes, they will know that light is always better than darkness.

Darkness is only for a moment; but light is forever.
  • Luk 11:34-36 KJV  The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.  (35)  Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.  (36)  If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
  • Joh 1:4-7 KJV  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  (5)  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  (6)  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  (7)  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
  • Joh 12:44-50 KJV  Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.  (45)  And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.  (46)  I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.  (47)  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.  (48)  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.  (49)  For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.  (50)  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
In the end time, there will be more and more people who will go against the norms. They will tell you, for various reasons, that light is darkness, and darkness is light; or good is bad and bad is good; or lawlessness is godliness, and godliness is lawlessness.. Of course, the false preachers would do the same thing for various reasons too:
  • Jud 1:11-24 KJV  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.  (12)  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;..  (15)  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.  (16)  These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.  (17)  But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;  (18)  How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.  (19)  These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.  (20)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,  (21)  Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.  ..  (24)  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Now, questions: How can the believers keep themselves in the love of God (or in the light of God) when false preachers are so cunning with their words. They could convince you that light is darkness and darkness is light or darkness is good and light is bad. The answer is to stay close to God's laws and commandments. If we have God's laws and commandments, the false preachers cannot deceive us because if God's word says so, it shall be so. If God's word says, Light is good, it shall be good. No one can change it and say that light is bad and darkness is good. Similarly, if God's word says that His law is light, no one can change it by saying that His law is darkness too. Hence, if we heard someone trying to persuade the people to believe that God's laws and commandments are darkness or curses, we should know that he is a liar:
  • Pro 6:23 KJV  For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
  • 1Jn 2:3-8 KJV  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.  (4)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  (5)  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  (6)  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.  (7)  Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.  (8)  Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth

4. Men could 'misunderstand' darkness as light, and light as darkness
Some may ask, "How can men be so blind?" I will tell them, If you think that men should be more intelligent, you should look at the 'perfect' man that was first created by God. He should be the most intelligent man because he was 'perfect' and had no sin. However, if he could fall, it should keep us humble enough to keep God's commandment. In fact, men today could be more 'blinded' than Adam. Of course, they could treat 'light' as 'darkness' and 'darkness' as 'light' without knowing it too. They could misunderstand God's commandment as darkness and lawlessness as light too. Preachers today could misunderstand the gospel too. They could have preached to the sinners the sinner's gospel which loves darkness, instead of God's gospel which loves God's laws and commandments.
We know that grace come from Jesus: Joh 1:17 KJV  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Some people would just conclude that Jesus is grace and grace is Jesus Christ based on this Bible verse. But if we read all the Bible verses above and the whole Bible, there is a greater possibility that Jesus is light. In fact, Jesus is the Light (see John 1:7, John 12:46 above). He is the Word, the Commandment, the Light. That's why we would keep the commandments of God according to His words, or else there will be darkness instead (see Luk 11:35 above).

Favour is for a moment; but God's commandment is forever
  • Psa 19:7-14 KJV  The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.  (8)  The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.  (9)  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.  (10)  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.  (11)  Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.  (12)  Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.  (13)  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.  (14)  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
  • Mat 19:16-17 KJV  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  (17)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
  • Rev 22:13-14 KJV  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  (14)  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

5. God is good because He is more than grace
Yes, God is grace, but He is not just grace. He is also light, love, truth, judgement, commandment, faithfulness, and justice. If He is only grace, He is not good enough. Hence, we do not worship grace; we worship God. God is grace, Jesus is grace, but grace is not Jesus Christ. Grace is not God, neither is grace a person. So, we don't tell people to worship grace or believe just in grace. Why? Grace is a gift of God; grace comes from God. Grace comes from Jesus Christ. Probably preachers who preached that grace is God or grace is Jesus Christ, they wanted you worship grace and slowly influence you to idolise them as the true grace giver in the end..
  • Joh 1:17 KJV  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
  • Rom 5:15-18 KJV  But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many  ... (17) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  (18)  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Grace, righteousness, resurrection, or life, is just a free gift of God or a free gift from God. We should ask the people to worship the Giver instead of the gifts; otherwise, the gifts of God could become the idols which we create for ourselves according to the desires or glory of our flesh.  We would be no difference from the Pharisees who used the law of God to glory their flesh too.
  • Gal 6:13-14 KJV  For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.  (14)  But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
  • Joh 11:25-27 KJV  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  (26)  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?  (27)  She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
  • Joh 14:5-15 KJV  Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?  (6)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  (7)  If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him ...  (15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Hence, we would be limiting God if we tell people to believe only in grace or grace as Jesus Christ when He is more than grace. Hence, we ask the people to worship Jesus, not grace, commandments, the way, or the life.

6. God is good because He is a good judge (He gave us warnings against the false prophets)
Have you seen any warning signboard around you? There could be a signboard which says, "No U Turn", "One Way Only", "No Entry", "Danger", "Slippery road", "No Swimming", or "Sharks", .. Most people would think that these are not good signs because they cannot do much when we see one of these signboards. However, a more thoughtful person would be grateful to the people, the town, or the country who put them up. He will not argue to remove all these signboards from their countries, from their roads, their work places, and their seaside. He knows that the only time when we don't need any signboard is when we are in heaven. It's because we don't drive or swim there. Similarly, a God's preacher will not argue to remove all God's law and commandment from the churches today. He knows that we will still have God's law and commandment in the kingdom of heaven after all the signboards of this world are gone. Why? It's because God's law is in our hearts and minds now and it will still be in us when we are in heaven too. Hence, God's law can never be obsolete.
  • 1Pe 2:7-17 KJV  Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,  (8)  And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.  (9)  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:  (10)  Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.  (11)  Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;  (12)  Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.  (13)  Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;  (14)  Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.  (15)  For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:  (16)  As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.  (17)  Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.
The false prophets will come and convince many that God instructions, God's laws, God's commandments, God's doctrine, and God's teaching are heavy burdens or the curses of the law for the believers, and therefore, true gospel should have no more do's and don'ts or God's commandments.
I will tell them, Of course, we are not saved by any do's and don'ts, but there are still many do's and don'ts in the gospel or in the word of the Lord. As long as we can still find clear instructions and God's commandments for us in the New Testament, it is still the will of God for us. Of course, we can still meditate on God's laws and keep all the do's and don'ts of God's commandments without being legalistic or unreasonably demanding on others. However, sadly, many eloquent preachers today have falsely accused all God's do's and don'ts as the law of Moses while convincing others that their own do's and don'ts are more gracious than God's laws. While deceiving the people that they have no law, they secretly bring in their own 'law' as their liberty or cloke of maliciousness against the law of God or the word of God. Yes, they preach grace, but they have also preached 'beautiful' lawlessness against the clear instructions and teaching of the Apostles. John said, They were from us, but they were not of us.
  • 1Jn 2:15-29 KJV  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  (16)  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  (17)  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.  (18)  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.  (19)  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.  (20)  But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.  (21)  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.  (22)  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  (23)  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.  (24)  Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.  (25)  And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.  (26)  These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.  (27)  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.  (28)  And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.  (29)  If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
We notice that John still emphasized on doing the will of God and righteousness of God. But the antiChrists will preach differently. They may confess repeatedly and vehemently that they loves Jesus and knows Jesus, but they could have denied Jesus simply by preaching everything contrary to what the Lord commanded. Beware of such preachers. They are coming. Yes, they may love to use the name of Jesus like an obsession but they do it to preach anitChrist teaching or their own teaching which is in place of the true teaching of the Lord.
  • Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  (17)  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  (18)  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  (19)  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  (20)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
  • Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  (48)  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood (false doctrine) arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)
The Lord told us clearly that these prophets preach doing their own will instead of God's will. They preach lawlessness or effortlessness by twisting the word of the Lord.

7. God is good because He is a good judge (He gave us warnings against the 'Corban' preachers)
They will argue, "You said, 'Many eloquent preachers today who teach eloquently against any do's and don'ts as the law of Moses are preaching attractive 'lies' and giving their own 'laws' to their believers today. While claiming that they are the servants of God, they also preach liberty as a cloke of maliciousness against the words of God. They preach grace, but they also preach 'beautiful' lawlessness against the clear instructions and teaching of the Apostles.' When did we give any law to the people ? We don't give any law; we believe only in grace .."
I will ask them, Have you forgotten that you told the people that they should never confess sins but only grace or righteousness? You had preached it like it was your 'law' because you preached vehemently that they must think of 'grace' instead of the law of God or repentance, and otherwise, they will be under the curse of the law. You said that grace or teaching of grace would lead all the sinners to repentance without any preaching of repentance. But can I give you a tight slap and think of grace because, by thinking of it, it can lead me to repentance? If this is true, I would like to try it. No offence.
Have you heard of the the Pharisees who created a 'law' or confession similar to yours? They told the people that they must think of 'Corban' instead of keeping the commandments of God. Of course, it was a lawless deception which they had created in the name of God for those who hate to live with God's commandments and principles. Probably, in the past the Jewish sinners could not find any reasons to rebel against God when God's commandment was so clearly understood as God's commands. But when the Pharisees came, they were happy that the Pharisees could twist the scripture so well that they could argue convincingly against God, God's servants, or God's commandments. Similarly, I'm not surprised that, the Gentile sinners in the end time, would love and worship any 'preachers' who could teach them to argue convincingly against God, God's servants, or God's commandments with any 'Corban' confession, 'righteousness' confession, or 'grace' confession too
  •  Mar 7:11-13 KJV  But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.  (12)  And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;  (13)  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
  • Mat 15:5-14 KJV  But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;  (6)  And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. (7) Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,  (8)  This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  (9)  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Obviously, it was just a similar 'gimmick' to cover their sin conscience and justify themselves. Today, I am not surprised to find that many preachers would preach similar 'gimmick' to cover their sin conscience, to argue convincingly against the law of God, to increase their popularity, to claim that they are more righteous than others, to argue that they can never sin, to boast that they have more favours, to and to prosper themselves effortlessly too. But please ask yourselves, Which 'gimmick' is the best now if it can be used to do all the deceptions above and nobody would suspect that they have preached against Jesus Christ by eliminating all the law of God and the teaching of Lord on God's commandments?  Well, you know the answer, it is xxxxxxx ! I can say generally that it is a cheap promotions 'gimmick' for greedy preachers who would not hesitate to preach the gospel carelessly, lawlessness, and relentlessly by confusing the people with Paul's grace argument against the law of Moses (which is the Jewish law) to promote themselves as the 'anointed' grace preachers. Of course, most of the sinners would be drawn by their arguments because the sinners do not know how to differentiate between keeping the law of Moses and keeping the laws of God.
Someone may ask, "Why are you against such 'gimmick' even if it can promote the kingdom of God and give God all the glory ?"  I will tell them, The Lord had answered it very clearly when He condemned the Pharisees or the lawless 'Corban' preachers. God did not get the glory. God saw defilement of the hearts in the Pharisees or the lawless preachers. He would not allow the defiled leaders to teach His people:
  • Mat 15:5-20 KJV  But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; ...   (7) Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,  ..  (10)  And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:  (11)  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.  (12)  Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?  (13)  But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.  (14)  Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.  (15)  Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.  (16)  And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?  (17)  Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?  (18)  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  (19)  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:  (20)  These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
Hence, whenever I heard of any religious confession, be it a confession of righteousness, of faith, of prosperity, of the name of Jesus, or of grace, when it is preached without doing any God's commandments, I consider it as similar to the Corban's confession - it will just defile anyone who confess it, as their heart is not right and has no faith to do the words of God.

The Pharisees and 'gimmick confession' preachers will now argue, "Preaching of 'gimmicks' or the goodness of God is, after all, not too bad. It will ultimately lead to repentance, God's commandments, and inward transformation. On the other, preaching of God's commandments, do's and don'ts, or 'Thou shall not .., Thou shall not..' are preaching of outward transformation. It will push them further and further away from repentance. That's why we preach more on confession, on our Corban promise, or on the goodness of God instead of God's laws and commandments. If we do that, they will be more receptive to God's words and in the end they will still repent. That's why we preach Corban, prosperity, grace, gift, favour, cancellation of debts, financial breakthrough, monetary gain, any gimmick, or any confession which will both benefit us as well as the people. When we preach it correctly, we will prosper ourselves. We will also prosper others too, for this is the will of God... Haha, we are now very prosperous already, who can deny it? Only the law preachers or those who preach the repentance .. Haha we have made them very jealous of us.. They have sinned .."
I will tell them, No one can argue with you if they don't know the Bible or the teaching of the Lord. But we know that you are preaching against the teaching of the Lord. You are a typical 'Corban' preacher or 'Gimmick confession' preacher. If you need to use gimmicks or deception to bring people to repentance or God's commandments, you are not preaching the word of God. In fact, your evasive teaching or oxymoron doctrines will never give people the intention to repent or to keep God's commandments. Why? It is because you have given them the option not to repent or to keep God's commandments, and argued that God must forgive them. Hence, most of them will not repent or have the intention to repent and obey the words of God. They will only want to obey your words instead. Your words seem to give them less sin conscience should they fall into sin unknowingly, knowingly, or even wilfully. Yes, you may occasionally preach a few sermon to tell them not to sin, not to steal, or not to lust .. but you have become their 'God' who can give them no condemnation no matter how they live their lives without repentance. Hence, they will treat your words as their 'commandments' and you have become their idol. You have cunning made the word of God and the commandment of God of none effect and stolen the credit by claiming that the principles, which originated from God's commandment, are now your grace principles and are now more effective than when they are preached as God's commandments. Yes, Paul did argue and preach that we are saved by grace. But when he taught the believers about godly principle and behaviour, he would not claim that it was his own principle from his grace teaching. If it is a God's commandment, it is a commandment; don't preach it as grace (voice of grace, teaching of grace, ..) or something else, to get credit for yourselves.
  • Eph 6:1-3 KJV  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  (2)  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)  (3)  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
I will tell the radical grace preachers, I am not against grace preaching or grace teaching even if you tell people how grace, Holy Communion, anointing oil, Holy Spirit, or your CDs from your seminaries, can make people more mature, more skilled in the word of righteousness, and more able to enjoy their inheritance. But if you need to promote it by changing, removing, confusing, accusing, or twisting God's laws and commandments, you will probably need to see a psychiatrist, or an exorcist ? No offence for saying that - because the serpent had done the same thing to God's words and we know that he is a hater of God's commandments. The Pharisees were probably trained in the laws to do more lawlessness like him too:
  • Gen 2:16 KJV  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:..   (3:4-5) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  (5)  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
  • Jud 1:10-13 KJV  But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.  (11)  Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.  (12)  These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;  (13)  Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

8. God is good because He is a good teacher (He will teach His people)
However, there are preachers who think that God will not need to teach His people. They argue that God's people will learn everything automatically with an inner supernatural knowledge or wisdom which is greater than God (who will still need to teach His people). They claims that it is grace which will teach; not any God's laws, God's words, or God's commandments. Hence, they conclude that there is no need for any laws, commandments, instructions, or godly advice for the churches. They said, "Laws and commandments are for the people outside the churches, but there is no need for God's people to know God's laws and commandments. It would be a tragedy if God's people needs to know 'Thou shall not.. thou shall not .. to live their lives. It would be like inviting Haggar, the bondwoman back into the churches. No, God's people has the auction from the Holy Spirit to lead them .. they will know what to do without any teachers of God's laws, God's words, and God's commandments..."
I will tell them, Yes, God's people will not need anyone to teach them how to know the Lord but not to know everything. Please don't be boastful. Just because you believe in Jesus, do you think that you are wiser than all other people? Please read your Bible again:
  • Heb 8:11 KJV  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
If we don't teach the believers to know the Lord, it does not mean that we don't teach the sinners to know the Lord. If we don't teach the people to know the Lord, it does not mean that we teach nothing.
Yes, the people outside the churches needs the laws and order. They knows the laws of their countries too. But they do not know God and God's laws. Do you notice that Jesus would not ask the sinners to keep His commandments but He would ask them to believe and repent only ? Why? It is because the sinners can never keep God's commandments. They do not know God and God's commandments. They can only receive grace. But after they have become His disciples, Jesus would ask them to keep His commandments. Why?
  • Mat 19:16-17 KJV  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  (17)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Joh 14:15 KJV  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
  • Joh 15:10 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
They will still argue, "But the person in Mat 19:16-17 was not a disciple of Jesus yet. Why did Jesus still ask him to keep the commandments .."
I will tell them, Of course, the person was a Jew. He knew God and God's laws. He showed potential to become one of the disciples of Jesus because He had the heart to do God's words. Hence, Jesus said to him, "Why callest me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. In another words, God is good because God would teach His people and give them His commandments.
However, sadly, many preachers today are giving the wrong signal to the believers. They have confused them to think that all God's laws is the law of Moses which has become obsolete. They boasted that only their churches are better churches because their churches have no more teaching of God's laws, no more commandments, no more godly traditions, and no more doctrine. I will tell them, If we thinks that teaching of family values, online etiquettes, moral living, good traditions, and good cultures is good for the people outside the churches, we would think that teaching of Bible values, Bible principles, God's laws, and commandments is good for the churches too. We should never deceitfully preach them as self-effort, works of the law, or curses of the 'bondwoman'. No, God's laws and Bible principles can never be self-effort, even if there is much effort to do them when we are facing challenges. Obviously doing the works of God without any God's laws, God's commandments, or God's principles may seem effortless to the boasting of many radical grace preachers who have prospered, but it could be their greatest deception against God's principles.

9. God is still good if He makes us sick
Many will ask, "Are you sure ? God will make us sick ?" I will tell them, Of course yes.
  • Exo 4:11 KJV  And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
They will say, "Ok, yes, God will make the sinners sick; but God will never make us sick or let us sick because we are in Christ.." I will tell them, If God can make others sick for His reasons, He can make anybody sick (including us) for good reasons too.
