Who is a false prophet?

We know that there are many types of false prophets in our world. Some are religious hypocrites. Some are agnostic or atheist. Some are even godless or lawless. However, who is a false prophet according to the definition of the Lord?

1. The definition of a false prophet according to the word of the Lord in Mat 7:15-24
After reading Mat 7:15-24 a few times, I realise that Lord Jesus has given us His definition of a false prophet. A false prophet according to the words of the Lord in Mat 7 is not someone from other religions or someone who preaches Satan, cannibalism, or false gods; he is someone who called Jesus Lord but twist or change His words without following or doing His words closely. Isn't it clear enough from the words and the warning of the Lord below?
  • Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.  (16)  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  (17)  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.  (18)  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  (19)  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  (20)  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  (21)  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
  • Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  (48)  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood (false doctrine) arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)
Jesus would profess unto them, "I never knew you: depart from me .." even though they confess His name and do many good works in His name. For years, I could not understand it. If Jesus would be gracious to all sinners who despised His name and never did any good work, why wouldn't He accept those who confess His name and do many things in His name? It's because I have read that He would never reject any sinner who will repent and believe in Him, follow Him, and serve Him.
  • Joh 6:37-38 KJV  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.  (38)  For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
However, after reading the word of the Lord which starts from Mat 7:15, I now realised that Jesus would profess harshly only unto the false prophets, "I never knew you: depart from me ..". And these false prophets will never be forgiven by the Lord because they would deliberately lie, twist, and change the words of the Lord without any conscience and conviction of sins.

2. The definition of a false prophet according to the word of the Lord in Mat 24
There is another interpretation on the description of false prophet according to the warnings of the Lord in Mat 24.
  • Mat 24:4-26 KJV  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  (5)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many .. (11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  (12)  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold .. (23) Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  (25)  Behold, I have told you before.  (26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
In the end time, false prophets will call themselves the christs or the anointed ones. Again, for years, I had been thinking that false prophets were any religious preachers, mad monks, weird pastors, crazy dictators, beasts, or cannibals, who would confess that they are the next Jesus Christ, the Messiah, or the Saviour of the world who will save the world and proper everyone. However, I realised later that the false prophets may not radically confess that they are Jesus Christ, the Messiah, or the Saviour of the world; however, they would just confess that they are the anointed ones (or the christs). Hence, it makes sense now why we would hear many preachers today calling themselves the anointed ones or the ones who receive supernatural anointing. We should sit up immediately if we know that many of them would also claim that they are the anointed ones or as anointed as Christ, and that they could lie and preach 'anything' to remove the law of God from the hearts of the believers. If this has happened, the Lord's prophecy in Mat 24 has been fulfilled more accurately than ever in our time today, when MANY false preachers would call themselves the anointed ones or the christs. Many of them could have deceived the people to believe that it is alright to believe them because they can preach the blood of Jesus Christ more powerfully and have more grace, more prosperity, more assurance in salvation, more God's power, more anointing, more wisdom, and very identical doctrine of Christ. But Jesus has warned us beforehand: He COMMANDED us not to believe them- They will be burnt or condemned ! I would be lying if I try to be nice and say otherwise. I will follow the Lord to tell the aching truth because we do not want the people to believe them and perish
  • Mat 24:23-26 KJV ... Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
  • Mat 13:25-26 KJV  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.  (26)  But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also... (30) Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
I know that false prophets would be terrified to hear these warnings from Him. They would try all means to come up with their own interpretation on Mat 7:15-24, with the hope that they will feel less condemned. However, the more they tried to explain and interpret with all kinds of no condemnation doctrines, the more they would show people that they are the ones Jesus has warned us about in Mat 7:15-24. In fact, Jesus has prophesied that false prophets would argue and insist that they have done many things, boasted about this and that, prospered, and given glory to God, in the name of the Lord. They would insist that the Lord cannot reject them because they have always confess the name of the Lord. But Jesus knew that they have not truly believed in Him. If they have truly believed in Him, they would have preached doing His words, followed His words closely and kept His commandments. They would not 'harass' the faithful churches with their evasive arguments, 'ding dong bell' doctrines, or radical revolutions to mock at the patience of the Lord and churches. Hence, Jesus would say harshly to them: "I never knew you: depart from me .."

The Lord is still asking them to repent. If they would truly repent, they would rest and stop preaching all kinds of radical doctrine to find assurance of salvation or all kinds of vain arguments to justify themselves. Just repent, let go and let God, and God will forgive while grace is still around.

3. Why would Jesus need to warn His disciples to beware of the false prophets?
If we are God's children, we would have the Holy Spirit to guide us. We would be able to discern the false prophets. However, why would Jesus warn His disciples, including the Apostles to beware of the false prophets? I believe it is because the false prophets are very deceiving. The are like wolves with sheep's clothing. They knew how to use cloaks of prosperity, wealth, success, beauty, favours, and long life to attract the believers. Jesus would never want us to under-estimate the deceiving power of the false prophets when they use it on the believers. That's why the teaching of Jesus is full of warning for His disciples, even for the Apostles or the twelve disciples who were supposed to be the strongest in faith and should never fall.
  • Mat 13:22 KJV  He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
  • Mat 13:24-25 KJV  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:  (25)  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
  • Mat 13:36-37 KJV  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.  (37)  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; ..  (51) Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
  • Mat 24:1-6 KJV  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. .. (3)  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?  (4)  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.  (5)  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many ...
  • Mat 28:18-20 KJV  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  (19)  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  (20)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
In the end time, false prophets will teach the disciples many different things by showing them that the baptism of repentance, warnings, and commandments of Jesus Christ are obsolete and not important. Instead of teaching them to observe all things whatsoever Jesus have commanded them, the false prophets will deliberately teach the disciples to observe all things whatsoever they will 'ding dong' them to do with their evasive lawless doctrines in the name of the Lord. However, many ignorant disciples would just want to believe the false prophets just because the false prophets could keep confessing the name of the Lord and prosper them. Sadly many disciples in the last days would not check to see if God's doctrine has the words and commandments of the Lord. They would think that it is alright for them to 'eat the fish anyway they like and know when to throw away its bones'. However, the bones could be so tiny that they would still get choked in the end. It could be serious consequence.

4. False prophets would preach everything out of its context, including grace
In the end time, false prophets will preach the words of God, God's law, God's commandments, the Bible out of its context. Of course, false prophets can also preach grace out of its context too. They will not preach grace; they will preach Old Testament favour which would not require any repentance of sins, and then they will tell the people to 'ding dong' between favour and grace for more prosperity from God. They have smooth and curly tongues like the frogs.
  • Rev 16:13-16 KJV  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  (14)  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  (15)  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.  (16)  And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Hence, Jesus would warn us to beware of false prophets. From the words of God in Mat 7:15-24 and the book of Revelation, the Lord has clearly told us that He wants us to judge and discern who are God's prophets and who are not. Yes, God's prophets will still preach grace, but unlike the false prophets, God's prophets would never take God's grace out of 'its context' (with vain or fake repentance) and preach it radically to make it look attractive to the unrepentant sinners. Today, too many false prophets have insisted vehemently that they have truly repented or preached true repentance, but God knows their hearts:
  • Mat 3:6-13 KJV  And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.  (7)  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?  (8)  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:  (9)  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  (10)  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  (11)  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:  (12)  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.  (13)  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
From the Bible passage above, we know that Jesus would still preach baptism of repentance from sin, like what John did. But the Lord's baptism of repentance would be greater than that of John's because there would be conviction of the Holy Spirit in the repentance of the sinners who come through the preaching of repentance in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will lead the people to a more powerful and genuine repentance of which the Pharisees would never be able to 'plagiarise' with their own hollow Corban confession (Mark 7:11), circumcision law, Old Testament favour doctrines, or spiritual pride and boasting, even in the name of their father, Abraham (Mat 3:9).
  • Luk 24:45-48 KJV  Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,  (46)  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:  (47)  And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  (48)  And ye are witnesses of these things.

5. Why would false prophets preach false doctrine?
I believe that it is not an easy question. The false prophets would ridicule me and say, "You are not the false prophet. You do not know us. If you do not know us, how can you know why we would preach false doctrine? You are not qualified to talk about it. Hence, be one of us and you will know how to do it." Of course, I know that they have the basis to say so. And I would be careful by taking in the advice of Paul:
  • 1Co 9:25-27 KJV  And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.  (26)  I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:  (27)  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
That's why I would not tolerate false doctrines, neither would I boast or preach vehemently that I can never fall or I can never be a false prophet. If we know that we are fragile and weak, we would not rely on our strength, we would rely on God's grace. That's why, if we admit our weaknesses, God will supply the strength. We will not boast, even with God's grace.

I will tell them, I don't boast that I can never fall or I can never be a false prophet; that does not mean that we can never know the hearts of the false prophets. We don't have to be one to warn the people about them. Jesus has told us that we must warn the people of the false prophets. He said that we can tell who is a false prophet:
Jesus tells us that false prophets would keep confessing that they know Jesus because they have done this and that in His name.. But Jesus said, I don't know you .. Why? Jesus has said it very clearly, It is because they may be good in confessing the name of the Lord but they are no good in doing and keeping His words and teachings. In another words, the nature of a false prophet is their habitual tendency to twist and change the words of the Lord, even though they could insist that they have preached beautiful doctrine in the name of the Lord. Now, it is time to answer the question

Why would they do it ?
- They do it for themselves !

Many of them would argue, How can you falsely accuse me? I do it for the Lord. I preached the name of Jesus more than anyone else.. I did this .. and that .. in His name, in His name, in His name... But, if we asked them, did you do His words and commandments ? Did you preach repentance or did you repent ? Did you do this .. and that .. ? They would fumble and their minds would 'ding dong' with their usual lawless arguments against the works of the Lord again.

6. Can we 'ding dong' from the lawless doctrine to God's law, and vice versa?
I will tell them, Let me go one more step further or go deeper to show you why false prophets would preach evasive or lawless doctrines. There are many reasons why false prophets would love to preach evasive lawless doctrine. One of the reasons is because they know assuredly that they can draw more people to themselves. I will show you why the preaching of their evasive doctrine is like the 'hit n run' dirty strategy in a guerilla warfare. Do you know that the evasive 'hit n run' dirty strategy can be applied in the preaching of God's doctrine too?

They will first attack (hit) God's churches by preaching many radical or lawless doctrines intentionally against all the churches of God. When they are criticised by most of the churches, they would gradually switch back (run) to preaching sound doctrine, God's law, and commandments. However, by switching to and fro evasively between radical doctrine and sound doctrine, they could now 'turn the table' and accuse all the churches back. Why? It is because, when the churches fall into their trap of criticising them, it would also give them the basis to say that all the churches have misunderstood them, falsely accused them, and that all the churches are conspiring against them or are jealous of them.

They would subtly remove all the lawless preaching in the past and show people that they have been preaching only God's doctrine. However, by the time, they have decided to phrase out from preaching the lawless preaching to preaching the more traditional doctrine, they have already attracted a huge following of believers (who had once condemned the traditional doctrine) like them. Their believers would now defend them by arguing that they can never be the lawless preachers because they are now preaching many traditional doctrines or godly doctrines. However, little did the believers realised that their preachers have already departed from God's doctrine, God's law, and God's commandment. They are now deceiving themselves by going back to the traditional doctrine only to justify their 'hidden' lawless hearts. Preaching of many traditional doctrines and doing good is done only as a cover to promote a 'lawless God'.
  • Rev 3:14-19 KJV  And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  (15)  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  (16)  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  (17)  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  (18)  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  (19)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
The word of the Lord is still applicable to us, to the churches, and to the believers: Don't be a ding dong bell preacher, don't be lukewarm, don't be lawless and act as though we still have God's law ! Be genuine ! Be a gentleman !

They will argue again, "How can you accuse us for preaching 'hit n run' strategy. You have practised 'hit n run' strategy too when you attacked (or criticised us), and then hide yourselves 'behind the skirt' (hide behind the internet). You are not a gentleman. If you are genuine, you should tell us your name and show us your personal identity. Otherwise, you are a false prophet too.." I will tell them,
  1. Does it mean that if anyone can show his names or identity, he would never be a false prophets? This is ridiculous.
  2. Secondly, I don't see any reason to show our personal identity here when we should be more concerned with our true identity in sound doctrine. We should be genuine with our identity in our doctrine and belief instead of being evasive with all kinds of false doctrine identities
  3. Anyway, saying that I am Peter, Paul, or Moses here will not prove my identity here.
  4. Neither will it prove to the people whether my doctrine is sound or unsound.
  5. Lastly, I have been having many fictitious dialogues with the false prophets. Hence, will not consider having a true dialogue with the false prophets unless they agree to show their identities, agree that they are the false prophets who have preached all the false doctrines mentioned here, and want to engage in a true dialogue. Otherwise, I prefer not to expose any false prophets; I prefer the Lord to do it at His time

7. False prophets would always argue (according to Mat 7:15-24)
They will argue, "We will never argue. Do we look like people who will argue? No, We are not smart enough to argue and we would never argue with anyone because we would only preach a God who has a lot of grace for everybody. Hence, we believe in grace. We believe in positive confession. We don't judge. We also don't believe in commandment, condemnation, conflicts, criticism, or argument. In fact, we have never never never never argue with anyone .. oops, excuse me.. err ..  except with the Pharisees or those who believe in many laws... Only the Pharisees and those who love the law and commandment love to argue.. They are always negative. They are always jealous of us.. they are hypocrites.. They are always condemning .. Oh, by the way, how do you know that false prophets would always argue? Can you prove it, bro ?" I will tell them, Oh .. , Yah .. ,  the Lord told me. He said that the false prophets would argue with Him. If you read Mat 7:22 again, don't you agree that the false prophets had an argumentative tone or questioning tone when they questioned Him ?
  • Mat 7:15-24 KJV  (15) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. .. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? ..
In the end time, many will dispute with the Lord and say, "Don't you know that we have done this .. and that .. in your name? Don't you .. Don't you .. ?"
Many will not listen to the warnings of the Lord and do His words, but they will argue vehemently on every word, every commandment, and every warning that the Lord has given us in the Bible.
They will just keep arguing, "1 John 1:9 is not for us. Heb 10:26 is not for us. The warning of Ananaias and Sapphira is not for. The warning of the false prophets in Mat 7:15-24 is not for us. The conviction of sin by the Holy Spirit is not for us. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus is not for us. The parable of the good Samaritan is not for us. The parable of the sower is not for us. The warnings of the five foolish virgins, slothful servant, and the goats in Mat25 are not for us. All these warnings were all before the resurrection of Jesus Christ. They were preached mainly to the Jews. Therefore all the parables and most teaching of the Lord in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are not for us ..." I will interrupt and tell them, Ok, ok, you are right. Only what you say is right. The law is not for us, the prophet is not for us, the judgement is not for us, discipleship is not for us, repentance is not for us, conviction of sins is not for us, rebuke is not for us, chastening is not for us, discipline is not for us, warning is not for us, ...  Why don't you say, Most of the Bible is not for us, only what you say is for us? That's ridiculous..

They will continue to argue, "In fact, Revelation 3:14-19 is not for us too. It is not for all our churches. It is only for the false prophets. It is only for the Laodicean churches. It is only for those who are not saved. But Christians are forever saved. Christians can never fall and become false prophets. Since we are Christians. Therefore, we can never fall and we can never be the false prophets too. We will never need to preach the warnings of the Lord or take heed to His warnings.. because the warnings are not for us. Why should we take heed if we can never fall ? Hence, in our Bible, everything in Christ is 'Yes and Amen', blessings, prosperity, and God's promises. It can never be warnings or commandments like 'Don't be this .. or Don't be that.. Don't do this .. or Don't do that .. When we read the Bible, we don't see any 'Do's and Don'ts' or the 'Thou shalt not' like the 'Ten commandments'. We see only good reports, good words, good praises, and good opinions from God. We always have good opinions of God and God have good opinions of us. We think of the good things about Him and He would give good things and favours to us. Therefore, don't tell us the do's and don'ts from the book of Revelation or anywhere. They are not in our Bible.. They are the curses of the law .."
I will tell them, Ok. Since you are so terrified of hearing the do's and don'ts, I can't help but tell you one more Don'ts, 'Don't regret' !
However, I would not conclude that all 'ding dong bell' preachers are false prophets. Sometimes, I may still sympathize with those who are indecisive with their doctrines and beliefs. Of course, some of us who are weak in faith can still fall into this weakness too. However, when a false prophet becomes a 'ding dong bell' preacher, we should sit up. He is not weak in faith. He is attacking the kingdom of God with his 'hit n run' strategy to discredit all the churches of God and God's commandments, and then claim credit for himself through manipulative argument and twisting of God's words.

Some will still argue, "How did we discredit God's law and commandment? We always have high regard for God's law. We know that God's standard is so high that no one can keep any of the law. Hence, we tell the people that God would not want them to keep His law. God wants them to just believe (in His grace, in His name, in ..) Is there any wrong if we preach like this? We don't think this will discredit God's law !" I will tell them,
  1. You have discredited God's law when you tell the people that it is not necessary to keep His law because Jesus said so in Mat 5:27-28. No, Jesus did not say so. He only said that no one is too righteous to repent as we know that everyone would still have the lusts for things and women. And these lusts would show us that everyone would still sin and have the propensity to sin.
  2. You have discredited God's law when you tell the people that it is not necessary to keep His law because His law is a hardsaying and too grievous for anyone to obey. 1Jn 5:2-3 KJV  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  (3)  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
  3. You have also discredited God's law when you tell the people that they must confess righteousness, grace, the name of the Lord, or certain words in similar fashion like yours. For example, the people who want prosperity, blessings, and long life must bring their wishes at the end of the year to be prayed for by you. Unknowingly you have discredited the word of the Lord. However, I will say, No, there is no need to confess anything according to your demands or according to your confessions. God has spoken. If we want long life, just do His words; we don't need any prophet, deacon, or demon to change God's promises to us: Eph 6:1-3 KJV  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.  (2)  Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)  (3)  That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

8. Jesus would certainly not accept anyone or everyone
We should have known from the words of the Lord that Jesus would not deny any sinners, any liars, thieves, murderers, con-men, or even criminals, who will repent and believe in Him (in the prisons or in our churches), but can we argue that, therefore, He would never deny anyone who would just want to call His name, preach His name, do many things in His name, or use His name (in our churches) ?
No, we cannot just argue blindly with what He said in a few Bible verses:
  • Joh 6:35-37 KJV  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.  .. (37)  All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Mar 1:14-15 KJV  Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,  (15)  And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

We must look at what He said in most of His warnings and parables in other Bible verses too:
  • Mat 7:21-24 KJV  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
  • Mat 16:23-24 KJV  But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.  (24)  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
  • Luk 9:23-25 KJV  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.  (24)  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.  (25)  For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
  • Mar 8:34 KJV  And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me
  • Luk 6:46-48 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Did Jesus say that only His twelve disciples, the Apostles, or the pastors should deny themselves (in repentance), take up their cross, and follow Him? No, He said, "If any man or whosoever ..". "If any man will come after me.." means "If anyone, any sinner, any believer, any pastor, any disciple, any king, any president, any sultan, any monk, any religious leader, any God's prophet, any false prophet, any liar, or any saint will come after me.." However, if you ask me whether we should sell everything and follow Him, I would say, "No" because He did not say "Whoever of if anyone .."; He said unto him only:
  • Mar 10:21-22 KJV  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.  (22)  And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

9. Jesus would warn His believers because He knew that they could fall if they had no deligence; but only pride
They will argue, "Christians are forever saved. Christians can never fall. Since we are Christians, we can never be the false prophets. Christians can never be false prophets.. Haha, we are always righteous .. even if we preach against God or God's laws .. False prophets will come only from other religions or cults .."
I will tell them, Yes, you may be right. True Christians can never be false prophets. But did Jesus say that none of His believers, disciples, or the Christians would fall or become false prophets? No. That's because He knew that Judas Iscariot (and even Peter), who was one of His believers or disciples, would fall. Although Judas Iscariot might not be a true believer or disciple, his fall should be clear enough to show us that Jesus would never give false promises to all His believers that they would never fall. On the contrary, He always told His disciples (including Peter, John, and James) that they could fall and that they should take heed, watch, and be diligent.
  • Luk 22:31-34 KJV  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:  (32)  But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.  (33)  And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.  (34)  And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
2Pe 3:17 KJV  Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
Common sense tells us that Jesus would not accept all the people, all the sinners, all the believers, all the pastors, all the disciples, all the kings, all the presidents, all the monks, all the religious leaders, all the prophets, or all the saints. It's because some would not repent. But do we know who are the people Jesus would condemn the most? Are they the non-believers who do not know repentance ? No, Jesus is still trying to reach out to them. However, those who are condemned harshly by the Lord are the false prophets who had known Christ, especially the false prophets ..  :
  1. who were formerly strong believers of Christ or preachers of His word
  2. who had known the word of the truth
  3. who had tasted the goodness of God
  4. who departed from God's commandments
  5. who would twist the words of God to cover their rebellion
  6. who would justify themselves for every false preaching that breathe out from their mouth
  7. who would teach lawless doctrines and spiritual deceptions
  8. who would utter deceits and lies
  9. who would justify those who are rebellious; but falsely accuse those who are godly, repentant, or innocent.
  • Mal 2:17 KJV  Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
  • Heb 10:26-36 KJV  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  (27)  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  (28)  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  (29)  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? ...
  • Heb 6:4-12 KJV  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,  (5)  And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,  (6)  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. ..
  • 2Pe 2:19-21 KJV  While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.  (20)  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  (21)  For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
  • Act 20:28-31 KJV  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  (29)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  (30)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  (31)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
The Bible verses above show us that they are former believers who could have become false prophets or wolves. Paul had to warn the leaders themselves and all the believers with tears that they could be drawn away by the wolves who came from themselves. Hence, how can we lie to deceive the people that no believers from ourselves will fall or become false prophets ??? Please read all the Bible warnings above again - they are warning clearly that the false prophets are very likely former believers who could have done this .. and that.. in the name of the Lord.
I will tell them, If you argue that false prophets who called Jesus, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils?" in Mat 7:15-24 were from other religions, will you say that the Sheep who asked the Lord, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you?" were from other religions too:
  • Mat 25:31-40 KJV  When the Son of man shall come in his glory, ..  (37)  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? ..
Can you conclude that those who confessed the name of the Lord above were from other religions because they always did good? Will the Lord say to them who are from other religions that they would be saved because they have done good? No, the sheep or the goats can never be those who were from other religions because the Lord will judge the believers or the churches first (like the sheep and the goats, the wheat and the tares, five wise virgins and the 5 foolish virgins, the first sickles and the second sickles .. etc) and then the Lord will judge all the non-believers in the final judgement (see Rev 20:11-15). Hence, I will tell the radical grace preachers, If the sheep who called Jesus Lord in Mat 25:31-40 can never be those who are from other religions, neither can we conclude that those who called Jesus Lord in Mat 7:15-24 were from other religions too. We must be consistent in interpreting all the Bible verses; we should not interpret everything radically based on all kinds of radical basis to give deceiving assurance to the false prophets, sinners, and the lawless ones who preach false grace or false gospel in the name of Christ.
Hence, I am not surprised that they would keep twisting and denying any Bible verses which they don't like by saying that all those Bible verses are not applicable to them or the believers eg. 1 John 1:9 about the confession of sins, Heb 10:26 about sinning wilfully, Heb 6:4 about sinning beyond repentance, 2Pe 2:20-21 about turning against God's commandment,  Rev 3 about judgement of the end time churches, Joh 16:8 about conviction of sins to the both the sinners and churches in the world, Luk 24:47 about the preaching of repentance, Joh 15:10 about keeping God's commandments,  .. etc. I know that many of them have used the doctrine of 'first principles' to make their points but I think that their doctrine of 'elimination' is equally ridiculous too.
They will argue that they could just ignore the words and warnings of the Lord because they are under radical grace. However, they did not realise that when they denied the words of the Lord for themselves and others, they had also denied the Lord:
  • Joh 14:23-26 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  (24)  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.  (25)  These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  (26)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
  • Mat 28:19-20 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:  (20)  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
  • Mat 7:22-26 KJV  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? .. (26)  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
  • Luk 6:46-47 KJV  And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  (47)  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: (Hence, Jesus said clearly that He would not just want us to have right believing, right faith, right miracles, right preaching, or right confession only; he wants us to have right doing with His words too, because right doing would prove that we are His true disciples on the rock of salvation.)
  • Rev 1:3 KJV  Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

10. The false prophets are likely former believers who do not preach sound doctrine
The Bible has shown us clearly that false prophets are very likely former believers of Christ. But will they teach the same doctrine as before. Yes and no. You cannot really tell. That's why their doctrine are mostly oxymoron doctrines and they are mostly called the 'ding dong bell' preachers. Why ? It is because they would still preach similar doctrine to keep some of their existing believers (who might still keep the teaching of God's commandments) while spreading their 'net' or their 'web of lawless lies' to get the people outside who hate God's laws and commandments. Hence, it is not surprising to hear one moment their doctrine is a 'ding'; but, another moment, it is a 'dong'. It keeps 'ding' 'dong', 'ding' 'dong' until all their hearers become 'ding' 'dong' like them too. The believers are so confused that it becomes the cause of many conflicts among the churches. Yes, most of the time, they can shrug it off as misunderstanding and insist that their oxymoron doctrine is more attractive to the sinners, and it can make people jealous of them. However, Paul has told us that the doctrine that can save is not the doctrine that is attractive or make people jealous; it is the sound doctrine:
  • 1Ti 4:15-16 KJV  Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.  (16)  Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
  • 2Ti 4:1-5 KJV  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  (2)  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  (3)  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  (4)  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.  (5)  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
  • Tit 1:9 KJV  Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

11. The false prophets will change God's commandments into their own commandments
If they do not preach sound doctrine, what doctrine would they preach? I have already said that they would preach oxymoron doctrine similar to sound doctrine or Bible doctrine which gives them the radical justification:
  1. not to serve God or do any works in the Lord
  2. not to obey any God's laws and commandments
  3. not to do any repentance or baptism of repentance
Malachi has prophesied about the coming of the Messiah who would judge the priests and religious leaders because they have defiled the kingdom of God. Many Bible scholar thinks that it is talking about the coming of Jesus Christ who would abolish and remove the Old Covenant, the Jewish law, the temple, the priests, and the Pharisees. However, do we know that it could refer to the second coming of Christ and the judgement of the false prophets in the end time too?
Mal 3:13-15 KJV  Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?  (14)
1. Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and
2. what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and
3. that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
(15)  And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
They told the people that God has no commandments for them and that any commandment in the Bible which tells them not to do this or that (like the ten commandment) is not from God; but ironically, they would convince the people that their commandments, eg. 1. not to serve God..  2. not to obey any laws.. and 3. not to do any repentance.., are God's commandments for them or that it is their fresh 'rhema' directly from God. This is so hypocritical. Isn't this the same strategy they have learned from the Pharisees who tried to get great following from the people?
  • Mar 7:11-13 KJV  But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.  (12)  And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;  (13)  Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
In fact, if we ask some of them, we would find that they cannot answer us decisively or clearly whether we are still required to do any work in the Lord. It's because they have preached 'No work, no commandment, and no repentance' for too long. Their revolution and slogan in their oxymoron doctrine which was started many years ago has created such a buzz and so much confusion that many churches today do not know what to preach now. What God has shown simply as His commandment to work has already been twisted to vain doctrine, vain work, vain mentality, vain metanoia, or just 'change of mind' philosophy. Please read Bible verses Heb 6:4-12, and ask yourselves, What is 'your work and labour of love in the name of the Lord' in (v10) ? Isn't it God's command to produce real effort, real work, or real labour which we must show in true love towards others? Why would He continue say, 'That ye be not slothful' in (v12)? Isn't a confirmation that we must not be lazy in doing His work. No, it is not only a confirmation; it is a commandment with the promise - God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love which ye have shewed toward His name (v10).
  • Heb 6:4-12 KJV  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost..  (10)  For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.  (11)  And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:  (12)  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
I will ask them, Do you think we can just tell the people that we do not need to work or do anything to please God ?

12. False prophets can only boast about their riches, prosperity, and lawless philosophies when they cannot produce any sound doctrine
They will still argue, "We can never be the false prophets because we can boast in the name of the Lord, preach in the name of the Lord, heal in the name of the Lord, and prosper in the name of the Lord. We do everything in the name of the Lord. Look at the number of people we have saved, prospered, and healed in the name of the Lord. We have built the most glorious church. Can you do it? If you can't do it, keep quiet, Please keep your tongues from negative criticism and comments. It is not the will of the Lord for you to say anything in jealousy if you have nothing better to say. It is the commandment of the Lord !"
I will tell them, It is not the will of the Lord for us to keep quiet if we know that you are preaching 'ding dong bell' or 'hit n run' doctrines. You may complain to the Lord that other fellowservants or the law brothers from God's commandments are giving negative reports against your 'hit n run' behaviour, but did you know that your evasive lawless revolution had attacked them first ?  You may think that you are the 'Joseph', who was sold away by your 'ten law brothers', under the Old Testament, but you are actually reported by the fellowbrethren under the New Testament
  • Mat 18:31-34 KJV  So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.  (32)  Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:  (33)  Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?  (34)  And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
I will tell them, Did you read Mat 7:15-24? You may have prospered with many churches and followers, but if you preach 'ding dong bell' or 'hit n run' doctrines, all your work or radical revolution is going to be abomination in the eyes of the Lord. It will work iniquity or lawlessness:
  • Mat 7:23 LITV  And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; "depart from Me, those working lawlessness!"
Preaching of 'ding dong bell' doctrines and telling people to depart from God's words and commandments evasively is definitely not a good fruit; it is an evil fruit. It is not something that we should not be proud of. Jesus would reject the fruit even if it is done in His name. If you are still boasting about your churches and your 'ding dong bell' doctrines like the Pharisees who boasted about their beautiful temple and corban doctrines, the words of Lord are still applicable to you before He comes:
  • Luk 21:5-6 KJV  And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,  (6)  As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
  • Mat 24:11-15 KJV  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.  (12)  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  (13)  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  (14)  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  (15)  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
  • Rev 3:14-18 KJV ..
  • Luk 9:58-59 KJV  And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.  (59)  And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Jesus has just said, If you follow me, you do not need to see big churches or beautiful churches. You would just need to do His words.

13. Why would false preachers preach 'Ding dong bell' doctrine  ?
They will ask, "You said that 'ding dong bell' or 'hit n run' doctrine is false doctrine. On what basis you conclude that 'ding dong bell' doctrine is false doctrine.."
I will tell them, I would not conclude that all ding dong bell doctrine is false doctrine but I would think that it is most likely false doctrine. On what basis? I must give illustration. Have you seen preachers, actors, or anyone with long hair in a video or a movie (I am not biased against anyone with long hair). However, if one moment you see them having hair and another moment you don't, what does it tell
  1. It means that their hair is not genuine. It could be a wig that they were wearing. Any genuine hair or genuine things in life do not change easily; they need time to grow or change.
  2. Similarly, doctrine which is a ding and a dong later is very likely false doctrine too, no matter how much it can impress us. On the other hand, good doctrine needs time to learn and cultivate. It won't switch easily according to the wimps and fancies of the people.
