K126. If we are saved under grace, are we 'forever saved' (even if we do not do anything)? (1)

If we do not do His words or keep His commandments, we shall surely die. Please think, Can the church be tempted or Can she fall like Eve? Yes, of course, it is possible; or else Paul would not have said it:
2Co 11:3-4 KJV  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  (4)  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Hence, we would be ignorant if we still preach that we can NEVER fall or the church can NEVER fall. However, we can hear many voices speaking to us now, "No, no, no .. you shall not surely fall or die .. because God is love, because God has given us His Son .. because God is grace .. because of this .. and that .. "
I will tell them, Strictly speaking, we are saved by grace; not by God's words or commands; however, are we still saved if we reject His words or commandments? Are we saved if we do not hear His words and carry the cross? Are we saved if we chose to misinterpret all His words to satisfy our lawless flesh? Are we saved if we chose to listen to a more anointed preacher who can preach like Paul but who rejects all God's commandments?
We shall surely 'die' if we reject His words or commands. Many argue and say, "We are saved by grace through faith alone. So, there is no more need for any law of God or the doctrine of Christ. We have countless Bible verses which tell us to believe only in Jesus by grace through faith. We are saved if we will just make sure that we have Jesus, faith, and grace. God will take care of everything even if we do not keep His laws and commandments."
I will tell them, Yes, we are under grace; not under the law. However, strictly speaking, we are not totally free of any law. This is not what I said; this is what Paul said:
1Co 9:21 KJV  To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
I will ask them, I don't care how many Bible verses you can quote or confess to assure or guarantee your own salvation. You may even convince the people that all God's laws and commandments have become obsolete. But I can say that you have not read the scripture or believed His Word correctly. It is a lie to say that all the laws, commandments, doctrine, and principles of God have become obsolete and not important (critical). Yes, God's command to love Him, obey Him, and worship Him may be an old commandment; but it is not obsolete. It may not be something that 'save'; but if we do not do it or keep it, we shall surely 'die'. I don't care what the preachers or the devils say. They may try to convince us that we can never die or lose our salvation if we do not keep any God's command. They are lying like the serpent. We shall surely 'die' if we listen to them:
Gen 2:16 - 3:4 KJV  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: (17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die .. ..  (3:4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Do we know that we are supposed to hear Jesus? God commanded us to 'hear ye Him'. Do we know that Jesus warned us that we can die like the fallen branches if we do not abide in His words (Joh 15:5), and that we cannot live without God's commandments (Mat 4:4)? If someone comes to you and say that you can never 'die', do you know how to tell him to 'get behind thee' (Mat 4:10)? He could be the false prophet or the false 'anointed one' who has been deceived or filled with the spirit of lawlessness. Do not believe what he says. Jesus has warned us repeatedly about him who will come in His name and in His anointing. But we know that every anointing about him is false, that every warning or prophecy about him has been fulfilled, and that that is the end time:
Mat 24:23-26 KJV  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  (25)  Behold, I have told you before.  (26)  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

We are not saved by the air, but can we live without the air?
I will ask them, Are you saved by the air that you breathes in? Of course, strictly speaking, we are not saved by the air; but we are certainly sustained continuously by the air and we cannot go without it for any moment. The day that we do not breathe is the day we die.
Similarly, strictly speaking, we are not saved by the command or the word of God; but we are certainly sustained continuously by His word. The moment we depart from it, we shall surely 'die', and that is shown to us clearly according to what He said in the scripture:
Mat 4:4-5 KJV  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  (5)  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
We are not saved by the air, but we are certainly sustained by it. When we were babies in our mothers' wombs, we were 'saved' or delivered into the world by the doctors. We were not very conscious of the air that we breathed in when we were babies, but as we grew and became more and more mature, we should be very conscious of the importance of the air. Hence, I can say that those who talked like the 'babies' would never know the commands of God or the importance of God's commandments until they have really grown up.
Similarly, in the church of Christ, our job is not to help all the 'baby' believers to drink their 'milk' or to drink the milk for them; our job is to make sure that they do not throw away their 'milk bottles' or God's words before they are mature enough to think or eat more solid food. We do not want them to throw away their 'milk bottles' and 'die' prematurely because of the lie of the serpent.

Can we be saved at one moment; and then next moment be 'unsaved'?
Many argue, "We are forever saved. We do not need to be saved over and over again. Hence, if we do not have to be saved over and over again, we can never die regardless of what we do in this life or next life! Haha, .. we cannot be condemned. All our past, present, and future sins cannot make us lose our salvation so that we need to keep confess our sins to be saved over and over again. Hence, we are forever righteous. We are like gods who do not have any sin, any law, or lawlessness! We are there because of Jesus Christ, Hallelujah .."
I will tell them, If you are gods without any law, you are the lawless devils. Do you remember that Nicodemus asked Jesus, "How can we be born again or go into our mother's womb again?" Yes, we are born only once physically; and spiritually also. We can only be saved (delivered) once into this physical world or the kingdom of God. The act of being saved or delivered is done only once, but that life which has been saved or delivered must be sustained continuously; otherwise, it will surely die. Hence, I agree that a believer can never be saved at one moment; and then next moment be 'unsaved'. It is because he can only be saved once. But, if he loses the 'garment', the word, or the command of God after he is saved, he will surely die. Like what I have said, a baby is delivered only once into the world, but his life must still be sustained by his continuous breathing of the air; or else, he will surely die. Similarly, a 'baby' believer who is saved or delivered into the kingdom of God must be sustained by his continuous obedience to the words of God too; or else, he will surely die spiritually like Adam again.

People sin not because they feel condemned
Many preachers argue, "But, today we are no more under the law; we are under grace. Law demands, but grace supplies. If we are no more under the demand of the law, we can never die. Grace will keep supplying us with the assurance of the life of God. This is the gospel. But, if you tell people that they can still die or that there is still the demand or command of God, it will cause fear which is the root of all condemnation. If they feel condemned, scared, or insecure, they will sin even more and they would never be saved .. "
I will tell them, Please, no more butt's unless you are the goats. Who told you that you can never die if you do not do God's commands? Do you know that by preaching and telling the people that they can never die even if they do not obey God's commandment, you have already rejected God's commandment? You may preach repeatedly about the great command in Mat 17:5 to 'hear ye Him only', but do you know that you have broken that very same command by not doing what He said. You may keep saying that 'you hear Him only' with your mouth; but He is not interested in you confessing it with your mouth only. He wants you to do His words and preach His words rightly too; otherwise, you are not His preachers:
Mat 7:15-23 KJV  Beware of false prophets .. .. (16) Ye shall know them by their fruits .. .. (21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
I will ask them, You said "If we tell the people that they can still die, it will make them feel more condemned and they will sin even more." What kind of logic is that? Please think, When God commanded and warned Adam of his death if he ate from the tree, did Adam feel so scared or condemned that he rebelled and ate from the tree? No. He sinned not because he was scared by the command; but because he was tempted. Please think of our babies and children also. When they were born into the world, we warn them that, if they do not eat proper meals, they will not grow and may even die too. Will they feel condemned because we say it to them? No why should they feel condemned if we are telling them the truth? Now, let's talk about the believers. They know that they will surely 'die' if they reject the words of God. If we tell them the truth, will they feel condemned? No. Hence, we cannot preach against God's command and give people the excuse to reject it.

God's Preachers can preach rightly not because they have good motives only
Many will argue, "But, we want the people to feel less condemned. We want them to feel more assured of their salvation. Please don't falsely accuse us. We have indeed preached the words of God from Rom 8:1 which says, Therefore there is no condemnation to everyone who believe .. But, if you say that people will die, it could be a false alarm and it will take away hope from them .."
I will tell them, God's command or God's warning is not a false alarm. If you insist that God's command is a false alarm, you will cause many to die because of your ignorance, rebellion, or false assurance. You have preached God's command 'hear ye Him' in Mat 17:5 repeatedly, do you think and preach that it is a false alarm too? Do you really hear Him? So, God's preachers are good preachers not because they preach from good motives; they must preach God's words or God's commands rightly too.
You said that you preached from Rom 8:1 that there is no condemnation because everyone can just believe (and treat God's command as a false alarm?) Yes, you may quote God's words; do you really know what you have quoted? I have explained in my previous post (K107 & K108) that Rom 8:1 is not a standalone Bible verse because it must be read with what was mentioned or written before it. Paul explained that there is therefore no condemnation because he chose to have the law of God in His mind; not because he just believe. Please read Rom 8:1 with Rom 7:24-25 again.
So, if you feel condemned and you want to help yourselves and others to feel less condemned, the solution is not to sweep all the laws (including commandments, repentance, warnings, confession of sins 1 Joh 1:9, Judgement Rev 3:16-19, .. etc) under your own 'carpet' or 'law'. You cannot pretend or assume that God's commands are written for other people, other sinners, or other agnostic believers.  
When God commanded that we must do His words; or else we will surely die, there is no other solution except doing it. Hence, Jesus is not the solution:
1. for us to do nothing, or
2. for those who have nothing to do (like the righteous);
but He is certainly God's solution
1. for us to have His command again and do it (Heb 8:10, 10:16), or
2. for those who need to repent (like the sinners)
Many will still argue, "No, you hear us wrongly. We did not preach and ask the people to reject God's commandments. We did preach that under the law, they will die without doing God's command; but under grace, they will live without doing God's command. Why? It is because grace is greater than all our sins and lawlessness. Please think, If grace is greater than the law and we live under grace, can we still die under the law even if we do not do His command? No, never."
I will tell them, I have shown you that grace can never be greater than the Word who gives us the command in K125. Please think again, Can grace be greater if grace tells you to reject God's command or the commands of the Word? No. Anyway, true grace will not tell you that you will still live even if you reject God's command.
I will ask them, Do you agree that God's preachers or pastors need to protect the sheep? Do you know what it means to protect? Is it just to protect their prosperity, their riches, their health and wealth, and their worldly properties, and heal them, and teach them, and prevent them from becoming poor? No, one of the most important job of the pastors is to prevent them from 'dying' because of listening to the false prophets or 'wolves' who tell them that they can never 'die' even if they reject the command of God. In another words, Paul warned and said that the sheep could 'die' even if they are saved or purchased by the blood.
Act 20:27-32 KJV For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.  (28)  Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.  (29)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  (30)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.  (31)  Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. (32) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Do we know what is the Word of His grace?
Please think, What is the true word of His grace which will cleanse and sanctify us? Paul said clearly, It is not anything which is controversial, misleading, and spoken perversely, or which contradicts His words and commands. It is not just grace. It is the WORD of His grace. Hence, the word of His grace is still based on His words. But, grace alone is a gift. 'It' cannot even replace the basic doctrine or fundamental principle of Christ for every believer (Heb 6:1-3), unless the believers elevate 'it', idolise 'it', and make 'it' become 'something' which rules on par with God. Yes, Paul did preach grace and 'elevate' it above the law of Moses or the law of the Old Covenant, but he would never elevate it to God's level, to be the Word or Jesus Christ who is the giver of grace. But, today many hyper grace people said, "No, the word of his 'Grace' is all about 'Grace'. Hence, the gospel that we preach must be 'Grace'-based or pure 'Grace'; or else it is law-based, demand-based, command-based, do-good-get-good-based, do's-and-don'ts-based .. .. which are like the old bondages of the law and the Old Testament." I will ask them, Do you really know what is a grace-based gospel? It must be based on the Word of God; not based on grace or on the gifts of God. Grace is not the base (but the Word is) because grace and truth came by the Word and Jesus Christ (Jn 1:1,14,17). Yes, we are saved by grace; but we are also saved by the gospel that is Word-based. I have explained that in my previous posts (K114 and K115 - What is Word-based?). I can't argue with the people who insist that they preach the grace-based gospel. But, if they think that they are preaching a better gospel just because they preach only grace or they preach radical grace (controversial grace), they are not preaching on a solid base. The solid gospel of grace must always be based on the will, commandments, and doctrine of God and Jesus Christ.:
Mat 7:21-24 KJV  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.. .. (24)  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Hence, God's word will never mislead; it commands, confirms, and clarify. Hence, it is not true that Paul would preach the gospel so much so that he was misunderstood by all the sinners, the Jews, and the believers. No, only the Pharisees would falsely accused him. But, even when the Pharisees falsely accused him, they did not misunderstand him too. Why?
Common sense 1: it's because the Pharisees would never falsely accused Paul if they had only MISUNDERSTOOD him. In fact, they would still falsely accuse him of preaching license to sin even if Paul repeatedly say no, preached clearly that God forbid, and showed them God's commandments. Hence, I can never accept the assumption that Paul had preached the gospel so misleadingly, so confusingly, so radically, or so lawlessly that the Pharisees and all the people had MISUNDERSTOOD him or grace.
Common sense 2: If grace or the word of grace can be misunderstood easily by the lawless or the hypocrites, then God would be unrighteous to judge the lawless or the hypocrites. Isn't it obvious to us?
Common sense 3: If Grace is Jesus or Grace is God, Grace could never be the judge or judgement. How can God judge in the end time if Grace is God or God is grace only? If the Bible says that grace came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17), then grace is a just gift and a gift can never be God. Yes, grace is not a doctrine too, it can be a person. Like grace, wisdom might act like a person too: "Pro 1:20 KJV  Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:" However, grace, wisdom, love, and the many attributes of God can never be God. We can never find any Bible verses which tell us that love is God, peace is God, prosperity is God, or grace is God. It is because any of these attributes is too limited by its nature to represent God who has unlimited nature. However, the main reason I want to debate against the hyper grace definition of grace as God is not because I want to show that I can define better than them. I correct them not because of my theological concern too; but because of my concern about their lawless motive. They have successfully used their definition of grace as God, grace as Jesus Christ, or grace as their 'idol' to get everything they want and deceive the believers to deny the importance of sound doctrine, replace all God's doctrine and principles with just their thinking or philosophy of grace, and depart from God's commandments.
Do you notice that this is the first time, I talk so much about common sense or reasoning? I think I need to do it more often when I talk to more 'hyper' spiritual people who believe only in the hyper grace or mind changing philosophy even though they may argue vehemently that they do not believe in men's philosophy.

Did Jesus or Paul tell us not to preach repentance because grace has been given?
Many argue that when people believe, they will repent automatically; or when grace is preached, there is no more need to call sinners to repentance. They said that grace can teach or take over the doctrine and teaching of God's words. I will ask them, If the preaching of grace is more effective and, therefore it should replace the preaching of repentance, Jesus would have less wisdom than all the 'hyper grace' preachers.
Common sense 4: If preaching of grace is so effective, why didn't Jesus Himself preach grace only? Why didn't He stop calling sinners to repentance or stop asking the disciples to preach repentance since He is grace and He has come?
Obviously the answer is: Jesus and Paul would never tell the believers to preach grace without telling the people to repent. Why? If grace has been given to the sinners so that they can repent and turn back to God, there is now hope for the sinners, and there is now more reasons to ask the sinners to repent. As grace is now available to everyone who are deemed to be 'cut down', even the Jews or the Pharisees who were 'righteous' under the law would not be exempted from the requirement to repent under grace to be saved too:
Luk 13:2-9 KJV And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?  (3)  I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish .. (6) He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. (7) Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? (8) And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: (9)  And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
Common sense 5: Do the churches preach repentance to the righteous? Of course, no. Hence, the churches must still preach repentance today because there are still sinners EVERYWHERE (in the world and in the churches). Please think again, Can we say that the people in the churches can never sin just because they are saved under grace. No, they can still sin if they are still in the world. Hence, the churches will still preach repentance. They will stop preaching it only if there is no more sinners in the world, no more sin in the world, or no more people who will sin. We know that this can never happen until we are all in heaven.
Common sense 6: Is grace without the preaching of repentance a license to sin? Of course, no. Please think of the Lord's parable about the two men who went to pray in the temple (Luk 18:10-14). The Pharisee thought that he was righteous and that he had good opinion of God; but the publican thought about his sins and was remorseful. If we preach 'grace' to the Pharisee and say that he is saved by just believing or thinking of grace, or by repentance with only changing his mind to have good opinion of God, what will the Pharisee say? Will he say that you are giving him the license to sin? No, on the contrary, he will say that it is a good 'license' which he would like to give others like him too. But we know that it is not a license to sin; it is the license to more hypocrisy, changing of mind, and lukewarm philosophy. It is worst than license to sin.
Common sense 7: Are we saved without repentance or turning away from sins? No. Many argue, "Jesus came not to make bad people good; but dead people live. Hence, Jesus would not tell people to repent from their sins but to repent from their unbelief. Repentance is just to change your mind." I will ask them, I thought you had also preached that we are saved not because we are better men; but because we can become better men. If you believe so, you would believe that Jesus came to make bad people good also. So, what's the problem to preach about repentance from our sins, lawlessness, and hypocrisy? Please think, If repentance from sin is not important, Sodom and Gomorrha would just need to change their minds only. But the Bible shows us clearly that all the people (including the Jews who were under the law) MUST listen to the preaching of repentance and turn away from the way of Sodom to be saved too:
Mar 6:11-12 KJV  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.  (12)  And they went out, and preached that men should repent.
Obviously the disciples were preaching the GOSPEL because even the people of Sodom could still be saved if they were to repent and turn away from their lawlessness. If you find it difficult to repent or hear our preaching because we always preach repentance with turning away from sins, you will find it even more difficult to hear Jesus if He tells you to sin no more and walk in His light:
Joh 5:14 KJV  Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
Joh 8:11-12 KJV  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.  (12)  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Common sense 8: Are we preaching the Gospel without preaching repentance? If you have read how the Lord sent out the disciples to preach repentance and commanded them to preach it, you will know that repentance itself is the gospel. But many argue, "No, we do not need to preach repentance. Do you know that when we preach repentance as doing nothing or as just mind changing (without turning from their sins), more people repent without us knowing it. In fact, when we tell them to repent like the sheep or the animals, there are more repentance going on and people are touched by the love of God .."
I will tell them, Don't just change your mind for the sake of changing your mind, just repent for the sake of repenting, just repent like the animals, or just repent like the Pharisees (Mat 3:7-8); but please repent like a sinner (like Zacchaeus, like the prodigal son, or like the publican) with humility and fruits meet for repentance.  If there are more people repenting 'joyfully' or 'happily' because they listen only to your fantastic 'repentance' philosophy or 'lawless' gospel, it does not mean that you are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have explained (in K101) that Jesus did not want us to repent like the sheep or animals which can never understand what is repentance and humility. He used the metaphor or parable of the sheep to show us how we ought to obey like the sheep; not to think like the sheep. Hence, when He said that we should be as wise as serpents but as harmless as the doves (Mat 10:16), He did not mean that we should repent like the animals or think like them too.
Common sense 9: Are we ashamed of preaching of repentance? Many quoted from Rom 1:8 and said, "Of course, no. But, when Paul said that he is not ashamed of the gospel, he referred to the preaching of grace; not preaching of repentance. He is not as ashamed of the gospel because it is always the preaching of grace .."
I will tell them, Please read it in the whole context of Romans chapter 1. Do you know that Paul was a Pharisee who hated the Christians and followers of Jesus Christ because the Christians preached that the sinners including the Pharisees must still repent (by faith or by grace) and that they must turn away from their sins (apart from any justification by their laws). But Paul was no longer ashamed of the gospel now because he knew why it is the gospel:
Rom 1:16-32 - 2:1-29 KJV  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek .. .. (18)  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (19) Because .. (21) Because .. (26) For this cause God gave them up .. (2:24-29) For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.  (25)  For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision .. (29) But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
It is the gospel because there is grace for every man to repent and turn from their sins, ungodliness, unrighteousness, hypocrisy, or outward religious rules and regulations. Hence, I don't see any reason to separate preaching of grace and preaching of repentance, or to preach grace and repentance separately.
Common sense 10: How do we know that we are in Christ or Christ is in us? Is it by just thinking of Him, confessing His name, boasting in His grace, or Having good opinion of Him? If you still think that this is good or this is His real 'commandment' after hearing His words, no one can help you: Joh 14:20-21 KJV  At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  (21)  He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Now, another common sense: Why didn't Jesus said, ".. he that hath my WORDS .." in (v21)? Obviously He used the word 'commandments' deliberately to ensure that we know that there are things to do in keeping His commandments. He said it because He knew that there would be false prophets who will rise and use His words or any words to promote effortless teaching or lawlessness prosperity which tells the sinners and believers to do nothing before and after they are saved.
Mat 7:15-24 KJV  Beware of false prophets .. (16) Ye shall know them by their fruits .. Of course, common sense tells us that there is a big difference between 'words' and 'commandments'. The false prophets may tell us, "You are good, you are beautiful, you are made righteous, you will prosper, you can never die .."  All these could be words from the Bible; but they are not commandments. Hence, the more they twist and turn their words to convince us that they have the commandments and kept the commandments, the more we know that they are lying with hypocrisy. They may argue and convince many that they have done a lot of things for the Lord or done like those in Mat 7:15-24, but in the Lord's eyes, they had actually done nothing.. yes NOTHING; Jesus did not accept anything which they had done. Why? They did everything (including the good things) not because of God's laws which were in their hearts, but because of lawlessness.
I will tell the hyper spiritual people, I am sorry that I have to say so much common sense. Yes, I agree that God's preachers must not just preach common sense; they must preach it with accuracy too. For example, God's preachers will not say that any thing, any organisation, any country, any religion, any church, any computer, any robot, or any program which has the name and the number of '666' is the AntiChrist, the Beast, or the Lawless One in the end time prophecy. But, God's preachers will be specific enough to tell you that it is not a plane, not a bird, not a superman, but a man who has the Name, and the Number of the name is '666'. We don't have to think very deep or use the computer to find out the answer; just think, How did John know that the name itself has the number '666' or '6-6-6' ? Did he ask God or use any special computer to find out the code or the answer? No, he saw it, he counted it, he knew it, and he understood. That's why he could advise you and me (or anyone who has understanding, common sense, or the brain to think like him) to do like him too :
Rev 13:18 KJV  Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Common sense 11: Many argue that God can never judge their nations or the world with disasters or pestilence because God is grace and there are always some righteous people in the world, like Lot (Abraham's nephew), who will stop God from judging the world, and therefore any disasters or accidents today (before the churches are raptured) are not the acts of God; but the acts of the devil. I will tell them, Please use common sense again, If God cannot judge the world with natural calamities, supernatural disasters, wars (death by swords or human intervention), or pestilence (sickness by biological intervention) because there are still a few righteous men or churches around, do you know what will the lawless ones say? They will say, "Haha, Amen, God cannot judge now. Yes, God cannot judge until there is no more righteous people around. But, please look around now, don't you think that you and me are the righteous ones around. Let's spread the 'gospel', be happy, don't worry. There is no more God's command or judgement as long as you and me are around. As far as we are concerned, God's command or judgement is obsolete for now."
I will tell them, Please use your brain. Did God say that He cannot judge the world just because there are still righteous people around or there are still churches around? No, God did not judge a certain nation, community, tribe, or people, not just because there were righteous people around; but because there were righteous people (like Abraham) praying and interceding for them. If there is no more people praying, God's judgement comes, and please don't say that it is the act of the devil. If we cannot use our brain, use common sense. Even the Jewish nation, God's people, or the Jews (including the Pharisees) had been judged so severely that their whole nation were forcibly sent into two major horrific exiles and persecutions: once by the Persian government ruled by the king Nebuchadnezzar, and second time by the German troops headed by Alfred Hitler. What makes us think that we are more righteous than the Jews, or that God is too righteous or too gracious to judge the Gentiles?

The 'Lukewarm' behaviour is one of the worst sins which will be severely judged in the last days
Many 'lukewarm' believers or 'ding dong bell' preachers think that they can switch between having God's 'garment' and having nakedness easily throughout their life after they are saved or after they believe. They think that God's grace is hyper (great) enough to  allow them to 'clown' around God's law and lawlessness or to switch between true holiness and religious hypocrisy.
I will tell them, Yes, God's grace is great enough to forgive all kinds of sins, but it is not great enough to forgive 'lukewarm' behaviour which clowns, enjoys, plays, and lingers around lawlessness or hyper hypocrisy. If you always switch between law and lawlessness for too long, you will soon realise that you have no more 'switches' which allow you to switch back to the 'garment'. You are cleansed only once to put on the garment of God. But if you think that you can keep switching it on and off, you will be shocked (speechless) to realise suddenly that the 'switches' can no longer work in that day even though you have to go into the King's presence without the garment (Mat 22:12):
Heb 6:6 KJV  If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Heb 10:26 KJV  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Rev 3:15-16 KJV  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  (16)  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
I believe that the lukewarm behaviour is one of the worst behaviours in the kingdom of God. It is not only a fruit of faithlessness or doubting, it could also be a total expression or fruit of self-deceit, hypocrisy, evasive incredibility, misleading lies, controversies, and lawless craftiness too. It is certainly not the fruit of a righteous man or God's preacher:
Mat 5:36-37 KJV  Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.  (37)  But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
2Co 1:17-18 KJV  When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?  (18)  But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.
Jas 5:12-16 KJV  But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation .. .. (15)  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.  (16)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Hence, if we still think that Jesus will spue us out just because we are not hot enough or cold enough, we need to know the heart and teaching of Jesus again. If we think that He will spue us out just because we did not teach pure grace or pure law, we need to repent of our ignorance, blindness, or bitterness against those who keep the words of God. Obviously, the lukewarm believers are lukewarm not because they are just hot and cold in their walk with the Lord; if this is the main reason, most of us would have been guilty of being hot and cold (or being up and down) in our walk with the Lord too. Of course, we must not falsely accuse all other believers who do not believe like us (in pure grace or pure law) as the lukewarm believers too. Obviously, the lukewarm believers whom the Lord would judge or spue out are those who change doctrines frequently, switch, evade, lie, conspire with unforgiveness, behave wickedly, and falsely accuse all others, to promote their own riches, nakedness, blindness, and lawlessness:
Rev 3:17 KJV  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Many think that only the Pharisees or the law preachers are self-righteous. However, the lukewarm believers in the end time could be even more self-righteous than we think or they think. They could be so self-righteous or confident of themselves that they would just falsely accuse all others who keep God's laws and commandments. They could be self-righteous and boastful in many things, for example in their own evasive laws, effortless philosophies, vain doctrine, false repentance, lawless revolution, deceitful riches, and corrupted grace.

We must know the 'bad news' to know what is the goodnews
Many will say, "But don't you think that those judgements which you show us are too condemning? NO, Jesus will never judge us. Jesus would only want us to think of how well we are loved, forgiven, and saved. He wants us to preach to the sinners that everything is well and they can just do nothing. All their past, present, and future sins have been totally taken care of without repentance or any effort from them, and they are bound for heaven. Obviously, those who rebel against the Lord will preach a different gospel. They will preach the bad news, the warnings, the judgements, and the condemnation of sins, instead of the goodnews or the gospel of grace. They will be doubly cursed by the words of God according to the gospel that Paul preached: Gal 1:8-9 KJV  But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  (9)  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
I will ask them, Do you really think that others are doubly cursed just because they preach the 'bad news'? If you were right, all the law and the prophets, the Apostles, and the Lord Jesus Christ would be doubly cursed too because they gave the warnings, the condemnation of sins, and the judgements too. Yes, the Bible may be full of the wrath and judgement of God; it shows the way to flee from it too. Hence, if you cannot bear to hear the bad news or God's judgement of sins, how can you flee from it when it comes.
Take for example (please take it as a hypothetical illustration) - I was living in a very big garden with my son. But one day, I heard from the radio that an enormous forest fire had started to engulf the whole area. As everywhere was burning and there was no escape for all who were living in the area, I told my son, "Son, the bad news is we will be 'roasted' soon. But the goodnews is: at the centre of our garden, we have a big well which is deep enough to shield us from the heat of the fire. However, you must listen to me now, Go there, find it, dig on it, and remove the heavy stone which has covered up the entrance into the well. You have to act fast to find the right tools to lift up the stone before the fire comes."
Now, please think, How will I feel if my son tells me, "Where, where is the fire? No, I don't see anything. It could be a false alarm. Please let me finish my this very important phone conversation with my sweetheart first. Just don't worry. We are living in a garden that is big enough to ... urhh.. what ? Why are you yelling at me, Dad? Have you forgotten we are under grace; not any other grace, but abundant grace and unmerited favour? Please calm down. God will take care of everything. If we are living in the perfect will of God, everything will be ok .. The good news is: 1. I know that I am living in the perfect will of God, 2. God is too good to be true, and 3. there is absolutely no bad news for us who are living in His perfect will ! He can even change the direction of the wind or cause the rain to fall just to save everyone of us. So, no fire nonsense again please."
Similarly, today many preachers insist that there is only the goodnews of God's love or there is only one type of Bible verses like 'John 3:16'. They do not see any other things or other Bible verses. They chose to shut their eyes and ears to all the words of God, including His warnings, commandments, doctrine, instructions, and His call to repentance. They may think that they can just do nothing, teach nothing, enjoy the good things, and .. (forgetting all the warnings and commandments of God) in all difficult situations, but this was not what Modercai said to Esther:
Est 4:13-14 KJV  Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.  (14)  For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Many people today may want to be a happy go lucky (peaceful) 'frog' in the 'well of grace' where there is only mind changing philosophy ('repentance' by doing nothing) with no more thinking of doing any hardship, effort, or duty for others. They called themselves the highly favoured of God in a 'hyped up' surrounding which they want all others to join them too.

Did Jesus or Paul always smile when they preached the gospel?
I will tell the 'hyper' people, Sorry, I cannot join you in 'hyper grace'. I love grace, but if it is preached until everyone behaves or lives like a frog under 'grace', it is not grace; it is 'dirty water' and blindness. If we do not keep the command of the Lord, we are not like a happy-go-lucky frog; we are like a lukewarm frog which can never see beyond the well. Of course, I am not talking about the real frog which live in the clean water or on dry land; I am talking about the lukewarm spirit of the frogs which live in the 'mud', in the 'dirty water', or in the 'lawless' spiritual realm where they will eat 'sugar'; not 'bread' or His word. Hence, they will eat and survive on plenty of 'sugar-coated gospels' and 'candies', while they may party joyfully and 'richly' with exciting stories of mysteries and prosperities, fantastic testimonies of working miracles, illusive escapism, effortless easy-believism, mind-controlled addictions, oxymoron fantasies, lukewarm doctrine, or demand & supply fallacies:
Rev 3:16-18 KJV  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  (17)  Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked ..
Rev 16:13-15 KJV  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  (14)  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.  (15)  Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Many think that the picture above can only be applicable to or happen to a Satanic congregation. However, the Lord was not talking about a Satanic congregation or a Satanic religion in the world; He was talking about 'THE CHURCH who did not keep His garments'. They were not frogs but they lived like the frogs in 'dirty water' and had 'dirty garments'. Therefore, they had no garments or appeared naked in God's eyes. It was not a small matter which we can just ignore, become blind to it, or just close our eyes without doing or saying anything.
This explains why God's preachers seldom smile when they preach the urgent message of repentance. We have too many Bible verses or warnings which keep us thinking about the wrath and the judgement of God. But, that will surely keep us preparing ourselves, looking beyond the current situation, and doing more for the coming of His kingdom too. Yes, we know both the bad news and the goodnews, but that will never make us feeling condemned, distressed, or hopeless.
Jesus did not preach only the goodnews; He preached strongly against lawlessness (I've explained how He preached it in K125). He did not preach what we like to hear; He preached what we must do before and after we are saved:
1. Before we are saved, we must repent (sin no more) or turn from our sins and lawlessness (Joh 5:14, Joh 8:11, Luk 13:3, Act 2:37-38).
2. After we are saved, we must not depart from God's laws and commandments. He showed us that all those who are saved (really saved) would still need to hear Him and keep the words and commands of God:
Mat 4:4 KJV  But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Joh 14:24 KJV  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me .. (31)  But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
Yes, we must still hear Him. However, many preachers today may argue that they hear Him, but deceitfully they make the people hear them and keep their own laws eg. their 'lawless' law, 'prosperity' law, 'effortless' law, 'immunity' law, 'righteous confession' law, 'mind changing' law, 'holy communion' law, or their own 'demand and supply' law which is the same law that the serpent preached to Adam ad Eve in the garden. They do not really hear Him.

God's promise of eternal life is not the promise that we can never die or never perish
God's eternal life is always given WITH His (very own) warning, command, or instruction. It was given to Adam in the garden of Eden; God's eternal life AND warning will still be given to all of us who believe in Jesus too.
2Ti 3:13-16 KJV But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  (14) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; .. (16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
However, many will still argue, "No, we do not need any warning or command because Jesus Himself or Grace will teach us everything. Jesus will promise us eternal life (without any command or warning). If it is eternal life or abundant grace, it means that, no matter what we do,
1. we can never perish,
2. we can never die, and
3. we can never lose it. This is what He had said in Joh 10:28."
I will tell them, Did you really hear Him? Please do not just read Joh 10:28 only, please read all the Bible verses before Joh 10:28 and read them in the Bible context:
Joh 10:26-30 KJV  But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.  (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  (28)  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  (29)  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  (30)  I and my Father are one.
It means that eternal life is promised to His sheep who:
1. hear His voice (v27),
2. follow Him (v27), and
3. do His words or God's will (v27) (and are known by Him Mat 7:23)
Hence, if the devil could take the words of God the Father and 'trim' it to give the 'you-can-never--die' message to Eve, he can take the words of God the Son and 'trim' it to give the 'you-can-never-perish' message to the churches too.
Yes, God the Father and God the Son have both promised us the abundant life and eternal life, but they have never said that we can never die or never perish if we depart from His words or commandments.

Are we pursuing eternal life or just eternal security?
Many think that they love God and pursue eternal life, but God knows that they want only eternal security. They want only security to live their own life eternal without any command or any need to obey God. They think that this is what grace can promise them. They could be wrong, 'dead wrong'. Today, many believers are arguing for eternal life or once-saved-always-saved' doctrine; but they could be interested in 'eternal security' only. The difference between eternal life and eternal security is: God's commandment is always preached or mentioned in the preaching of eternal life; but not in eternal security:
Mat 19:16-17 KJV  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  (17)  And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mar 10:17-19 KJV  And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?  (18)  And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.  (19)  Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Luk 10:25-27 KJV  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?  (26)  He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? (27) And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
Rom 8:2 KJV  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Joh 6:68 KJV  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Joh 6:63-64 KJV  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  (64)  But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
But there are still some who do not believe: Joh 10:26-30 KJV But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.  (27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  (28)  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand ..
I will repeat and say it again, The difference between eternal life and eternal security is: God's commandment is always preached or mentioned in the preaching of eternal life; but not in eternal security. In another words, eternal life is in God's commandment; but eternal security is not in it.

There is always God's commandment in eternal life; but not in eternal security
Many hyper grace people have changed their minds and argued that Christian believers can fall or lose their salvation now; but, it is because the believers believe in another gospel or in another Jesus. However, this time, the hyper grace people quote the Bible verses out of the Bible context again:
2Co 11:3-4 KJV  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  (4)  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
They said that many churches are preaching another gospel or another Jesus because they still preach the laws and commandments of God.
I will tell them, Of course, we still do. I have explained that eternal life (or the gospel) must have God's commandments or God's words; otherwise it is not the gospel. It is just 'eternal security' without God. Do you know who is 'another Jesus' or 'another gospel'? It is 'another Jesus or 'gospel' not because it has the law of God; but because it is the gospel of lawlessness. It is  'another Jesus' who has no commandments or no laws of God'. It is 'another spirit' which deceives and brings the people into their lawlessness, their hypocrisy, their prophecies, their oracles, their philosophies, their traditions, their revolution, their own confession, their own justification, and their own commandments:
2Co 11:13-15 KJV  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  (14)  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  (15)  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. .. 1Co 14:36-38 KJV  What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?  (37)  If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.  (38)  But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
Joh 15:10 KJV  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
I will ask the hyper grace people, Are you going to say that Jesus Himself is 'another Jesus' because He did not preach any 'pure grace'  but give His laws, commands, and demands to us?
Act 1:2 KJV  Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
1Jn 5:7 KJV  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Between Grace and the Word, Jesus Christ? Who is greater?
I will tell the hyper grace people, I do not like to compare all the things of God, including God's commandments, and tell the people which gift or commandment from God is greater. I do not like to pursue the easy way or the hypocritical way, challenge others with our greatest gift or greatest commandment, and boast like the Pharisees or the lawyer who tried to test Jesus with his 'great' question too:
Mat 22:33-36 KJV  And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.  (34)  But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.  (35)  Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,  (36)  Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
I will tell them, However, if you insist that you are more superior than others and us because you think that you can prosper more or believe more rightly just because you believe in grace and grace is greater than all your past, present, and future sins (including your future lawlessness?), please read your Bible again, especially John chapter 1. Do you know why Jesus Christ is the Word and the Word is Jesus Christ? It is because the Bible (Jn 1:17) tells us that grace and truth came from Jesus Christ or the Word. We cannot reverse it. We know that we are believing the Word or the true Jesus, and not 'another Jesus', because we know His words and commandments. However, if we can take away His commandments, He is no more our true Jesus.
Yes, you may preach that grace is greater than all your future sins and lawlessness, and that grace will make you live forever; but grace can never be greater than the Word or the command of God. The moment you depart from the Word or His command (no matter how much grace or how greater grace you can receive from the Word), you will still die.
Yes, we are saved (once and for all) by grace. But, did Jesus say that we must also live (continuously) by grace too. Probably, yes. However, He said it more clearly that we must live by EVERY WORD which proceedth from the mouth of God. What did He mean when He said 'EVERY WORD'? Did He really mean it? Yes, of course, He really meant it. When He said 'EVERY WORD', did He mean every good word, nice word, beautiful word, good promise, gracious word, praise word, blessed word, .. .. (or all the assuring word of God which we like) ? Yes, certainly, but He also meant His every word which we may not like too, including His rebukes, His correction, His instruction, His command, His doctrine, His principles, and His repentance message. Even Paul would confirm the teaching of the Lord by saying that we must live by His every word continuously:
2Ti 3:12-17 KJV  Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  (13)  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  (14)  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;  (15)  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  (16)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  (17)  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 

We must still preach common sense: Can law and grace mix?
I will tell the hyper grace people one final common sense since they think that they can preach better doctrine, better revolution, or better grace (hyper grace), I will tell them, Yes, I have said that I have to talk common sense because you are still thinking like a child. Yes, grace is a gift from Jesus Christ (Joh 1:17). It is not even a basic doctrine of Jesus Christ but, yet you boast that you can preach it to replace all the words, teaching, and fundamental doctrine of Christ (including His doctrine of repentance Heb 6:1-3). So this is Common sense 12: Did Paul really say that law and grace cannot mix, and therefore, we can only preach your 'hyper grace' (which is without any law)? Is 'pure grace' without any law the gospel of grace or the gospel of Jesus Christ? No, please read your Bible: eternal life (even the gift of grace) would be only eternal security if it is preached without God's law and commandment.
Please think again, Did Paul or Jesus really say that law and grace cannot mix? No, please read all their words again. They have only said that the Old Covenant and New Covenant cannot mix. But there are still laws, commandments, and doctrine in all God's covenants, and they cannot be replaced by any grace, any favour, any blessing, any miracle, or salvation:
Mat 9:16-17 KJV  No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.  (17)  Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Heb 8:6-10 KJV  .. (7)  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.  (8)  For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:  (9)  Not according to the covenant .. out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.  (10)  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Now common sense, Did Jesus say that there will be no more wine in the new wine? Or did Paul say that there will be no more law in the new covenant? No, in both the new wine and new covenant, there are still wine and law. But, if we use something else to replace the wine, it can no longer be called new wine. Similarly, if we use grace to replace all God's laws in the new covenant, can it still be called the new covenant? No.
You may argue that you do not preach any law because you can now preach only the love of God and the love of God will set you free. But please think, Do you always just preach a beautiful message of love without telling your people what to do? Didn't you tell the husbands what to do and give the illustration of love when you preach in their marriage seminars. Jesus preached about the love of God and gave illustration too. Do you know that all the message of love that we hear and preach must be based on God's commandments?
Luk 10:25-37 KJV  And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?  (26)  He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?  (27)  And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. .. .. (37) And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Mat 7:21 KJV  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Joh 7:16-17 KJV  Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  (17)  If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Joh 14:24-31 KJV  He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me .. .. (31) But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
Hence, the preaching of love must be based on God's commandments; not on our words or philosophies. If love must be preached based on God's commandment, can we still say that there is no more God's commandment in the gospel or the new covenant? No.
I will tell them, If you insist that law and grace cannot mix because law and grace are like water and oil as they are different, I will say, Yes, of course, they are two different things, and therefore, they do not mix; but they are always together! Will that still make you unhappy?
Many still argue, "Yes, you are still preaching another gospel. How can you say that law and grace can be together when the righteousness of God is manifested without the law (Rom 3:21)?"
I will tell them, Yes, before Jesus came, the fallen Adam and all the sinners (including the Jews) could never have the righteousness of God apart from the law. However, after grace was given through Jesus Christ and the Word came, every man (including the Jews) who repent (under grace or because of grace) can now receive the righteousness of God to return to God and to His laws:
Heb 8:10-12 KJV  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people .. .. (12)  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 10:16-17 KJV  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  (17)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Since there is now God's law after grace, why can't we say that grace and law are always together? If grace has brought us back to the law of God, why can't we say that grace and law are together now?
If God is now merciful to all our unrighteousness because of His grace, and because of His laws which are now in our hearts, why can't we preach the grace and laws of God to all men and sinners? If you have problem preaching it, will you still have problem preaching the grace and law of Jesus Christ too?
Many will say, "But pure grace does not have any law. Grace and law cannot mix .. If you do not preach according to the gospel that Paul preached, you are preaching under the law. You are preaching under the curse of the law. You are preaching another gospel. You are doubly cursed .." I will tell them, Please stop preaching your 'pure grace' hypocritically and boastfully with the hidden motive to curse others. 'Pure grace' is not in the Bible. Obviously 'pure grace' is just your own definition or a camouflage for you to accuse all godly believers, and then hide yourselves evasively from godly rebuke, godly correction, God's command, and God's words. 'Pure grace (without any law of God)' has never been preached by Paul, but you could have deliberately preached it (or misinterpreted it out of the Bible context) to deceive many people:
Rom 6:14-15 KJV  For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.  (15)  What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Of course, Paul said that we are not under the law (of Old Covenant); he did not say that we have no more law. In fact, he confirmed it twice that we still have the law of God (under the New Covenant):
Heb 8:10 KJV  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Heb 10:16-17 KJV  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;  (17)  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Hence, in the end time, we do not preach grace with 'revolution' to depart from God's law; instead, we preach grace with repentance to return to God's laws and take heed to His warning or command against lawlessness. Many prosperity and word of faith preachers today claim that they can prosper and do miracles; but when they are questioned about their errors or motives in preaching the deceitfulness of riches, they would always identify themselves with the traditional preachers and boast that they have always preached like them. They may always quote from C. H. Spurgeon (a traditional Baptist preacher) or Martyn Lloyd-Jones (an evangelical puritan repentance preacher who was strongly opposed to liberal Christianity). But, I find it very strange to hear many modern preachers who dress like the liberals today boasting that they always quote, preach, think, and live like C. H. Spurgeon or Martyn Lloyd-Jones. I will tell them, If you can truly preach or live like them, you would never prosper yourselves 'radically' or effortlessly with the sales of your 'lawless' (liberal) doctrine in the form of DVDs, books, revolutions, conferences, and TV broadcasts. You would not draw people to remember only your entertaining, controversial, lawless, lukewarm, evasive revolution which is a total rebellion against the words, commandments, and doctrine of Christ.
